They also resized my return duct that goes back into the furnace. For now I just replaced my furnace, but I can already see a significant difference in airflow throughout the house when running the AC and my first and second floors now have a more consistent temperature. I tend to research major purchases pretty heavily, and HVAC was no exception. We cross-shopped several equipment options, including Lennox, Bosch, and Rheem, and also received proposals from some of the area's more established and highly rated HVAC companies, including Signature HVAC and Tru North Heating & Air. After comparing the equipment, warranties, pricing, proposed solutions, and overall experience, Keystone Comfort earned our business. I worked primarily with Mike during the quoting and system-selection process, and that was one of the things that really separated Keystone from the competition. Rather than simply presenting a typical "better, best" lineup and trying to move us toward the most expensive option, Mike took the time to understand our home, what we were replacing, and what we were trying to accomplish. His recommendations focused on finding the right balance of comfort, performance, efficiency, reliability, and price. He was willing to explain where spending more made sense and, just as importantly, where it didn't. That gave us a lot of confidence that Keystone was recommending the most appropriate solution for our home rather than simply the highest-priced equipment they could sell us. When installation day came, Mike was there along with Travis and Shelby, and the same level of service carried through to the installation itself. All three were knowledgeable, professional, easy to work with, and clearly took pride in the quality of their work. They were also patient with my questions throughout the process and made sure we understood the new systems. Keystone Comfort may be a newer company in the area, but I would not mistake that for a lack of experience. Their team brings a significant amount of collective HVAC experience, including experience with some of the well-known companies in our local market. In many ways, you get the personal attention and responsiveness of a newer local business combined with the knowledge and experience you would expect from a much larger operation. They also went above and beyond when it came to overall value. Their pricing was extremely competitive, but this wasn't simply a decision based on who gave us the lowest number. When we looked at the complete package, including the equipment, expected performance and efficiency, proposed solution, quality of installation, communication, experience, and price, Keystone presented what we felt was the best overall solution and value. Now that the installation is complete, we're equally impressed with the quality of the work. Everything was installed cleanly and professionally, with an obvious attention to detail. When you're making this kind of investment in your home, I believe the quality of the installation matters every bit as much as the name on the equipment, and the finished product reinforced that we made the right decision. If you're researching HVAC companies and Keystone Comfort comes up alongside other 'established' names, I would absolutely recommend including Keystone in your conversations before making a decision. We compared them directly with established, highly reviewed companies and evaluated several major brands before choosing them. We're extremely happy with our decision and would highly recommend giving Mike, Travis, Shelby, and the Keystone Comfort team an opportunity to earn your business.
